Just coming to the end of the lengthy changeover from large display (42-72pt) to the smaller display sizes on the Super caster. It’s more work than you’d think.

A galley of 72pt Falstaff heading off to @pinchedpost, after a lengthy delay on my part. I always try to get things out as soon as possible, but I’m human. And a stupid human at that. Still, the type is shiny.

This enormous fount of 72pt Falstaff is coming with me to Whittington Press Open day, too. £900 on the day, but it’ll go into the online shop for £1,000 (when I eventually get that set up…) I can now take card payments with the fancy iZettle thing, so no need to come to Whittington with piles of cash if it takes your fancy.

This little stack of holey paper will be accompanying me to the Whittington Press open day this weekend. I’ll be manning the proofing press, with a few prints, type and spacing for sale.

I’m always on the lookout for page cord. The stuff I’ve been using is a bit too stretchy, and can spring back a bit too much when untying; I’ve come to the end of my supply, too, so I’m on the lookout for new stock. Recently, thanks to the purchasing choices of The Lady, I’ve found that Cos swing tags are attached with *perfect* page cord: it’s thin, very strong and practically inextensible. Unfortunately, Cos tell me that they have it specially made for them, and they won’t tell me where, and nor will they sell me a box of it. The search continues…
